Walk: The Hague and Slavery
For many, the trading city of Amsterdam or the port city of Middelburg come to mind when thinking about the Dutch slavery past. But The Hague has played a central role in the establishment, maintenance and abolition of slavery since the 17th century. Traces of this history are still visible in the streets of The Hague. Various locations still remind us of the slavery past and are part of this city walk.

Walk: The Binnenhof as a medieval castle
Explore the Binnenhof and its surroundings as it was centuries ago: the court of the Counts of Holland, surrounded by moats and walls with three entrance gates. In seven centuries it changed face again and again. We follow the (construction) history, from castle to administrative center. Please note: due to the renovation, this tour does not go through the Binnenhof but around it.
